Withers Canyon, the trailhead for Picketwire Canyon, is the access point for hikers, non-motorized bicycles, and horseback riders.

To reach the dinosaur tracks, you'll pass by the Dolores Mission and Cemetery, just 3.7 miles from the trailhead. From here, the dinosaur tracks are only accessible by crossing the river, so be extremely careful. For extra safety measures, please consult the trail rules and be prepared for the variable climate, challenging terrain, and intense physical activity.
