From winter to summer, we're always playing in Portland. Check out these Portland sports. Then bring your team and come out to play with us.
Tee Off At Portland's Many Courses
There's not three, not four, but five golf courses near us. If you're bringing a group for a golf outing, you'll have all of Portland's courses at your doorstep. Take it easy at the Par 3 Mason course at the Columbia Edgewater Country Club or take a bigger challenge at its Macan Course. Portland Meadows, Riverside, and Broadmoor Golf Courses also take you through natural Pacific Northwest beauty. If you're a real course connoisseur, head to Pumpkin Ridge, one of the best courses in the city.
Adventure in the Scenic Pacific Northwest
With the Pacific Northwest's natural beauty comes exciting outdoor sports. In winter, ski and snowboard on nearby Mount Hood. Rock climbing is an increasingly popular sport here in the summer. You'll find mountaineers-in-training practicing at crags around town, getting ready to take on more difficult ascents.
Go For a Run
As the home of Nike and Adidas, we've got running our blood. The Hood to Coast relay is one of the longest and largest relays in the world, with over 18,000 total participants. The overnight run is on the bucket list for many runners. The course winds from Mount Hood, through Portland, to the town of Seaside on the coast. Walkers can participate in the shorter Portland to Coast Walk, and high schoolers can try the Portland to Coast High School Challenge.
Of course, we've just barely scratched the surface of sports in Portland. Whatever game your team plays, we'll make sure you have a winning stay.
