02/25/17 - 2PM - Dominique Morgan

We will look at the impact of QPOC (queer people of color) and their influence on media, activism and social justice through the lens of Black History. There are so many untold stories that have had significant impact on where we are today. This presentation will be a beginners introduction. Presented by Executive Director of QPOC Nebraska - Dominique Morgan you are sure to be entertained and enlightened at the same time.

Dominique Morgan is a 2016 NAACP Freedom Fighter Award recipient, 2016 Secret Kindness Agent Award winner, an award winning singer/songwriter, host, writer, comedian and activist. The four time Omaha Entertainment Arts Awards "Artist of the Year" nominee is recording his next full length album "Therapy Notes" to be released in 2017 along with a book with the same title. By day he works as an Adolescent Health Educator at Charles Drew Health Center in Omaha, NE.
