Columbia Park in Kennewick is a scenic 400-acre recreational area located along the Columbia River. This much-loved local park features facilities for outdoor activities and hosts special events throughout the year. Located just a short drive from our hotel, it is a great place to spend an afternoon with friends and family.

Popular with Kennewick residents and visitors alike, this historic park features a wide variety of fun attractions for all ages. Cyclists and runners will enjoy the 23-mile Sacagawea Heritage Trail, a multi-use path that cuts through the park and makes its way through much of the Tri-City area. Meanwhile, golfers can test their skills at the privately-run, 18-hole Columbia Park Golf Links, which also offers professional lessons and a FootGolf course. In addition, the park has become well-known for geocaching, an outdoor activity that uses a GPS system to uncover hidden treasures, with 19 geocaches found in the park in recent years. Children in particular will be delighted by the Playground of Dreams and the nearby fishing pond and aquatic playground.

The Kennewick Columbia Park also hosts special events throughout the year, including a lively “River of Fire” Fourth of July celebration, the Columbia Cup hydroplane race, and a winter polar bear plunge.
