Shops on Hay

Hay Street, just a ten minute drive from our hotel, is packed with unique local shops. Franklin Street Place, a restored 1920 building, is home to several shops, including the cheekily-named White Trash antique store. Southern Alternative sells the latest clothing trends, with a southern twist. A Bit of Carolina has tons of souvenirs to take home after your trip, including locally-made barbecue sauce and seasonings. The Shops at 123 Hay Street are another excellent spot for finding vintage clothing and handcrafted goods. For snacks while you are out shopping, stop by Just Desserts Bakery or Rude Awakening Coffee House.
