Riverfront Park 507 N Howard St, Spokane WA 99201 509-625-6601 0.69

Historically, Native Americans were drawn to the spectacular Spokane Falls for their summer harvest of salmon. Today, crossing the scenic waterfalls by the SkyRide gondola is only one of the many attractions in Riverfront Park, developed at the site of the 1974 World's Fair Expo. Park walkways and bridges connect with the Centennial Trail as it heads east to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, offering a quick escape from the urban core for joggers, bicyclists and pedestrians. The famous Clock Tower serves as the focal point of the park constructed in 1902. When much of the surroundings were demolished in preparation for Expo '74, the Clock Tower was able to be preserved and served as a reminder of Spokane's railroad history. Luckily, the park is located out our back door and across the river.
