My travel plans have changed, how do I make changes to my reservation?

If your booking was created through our central reservations office or on redlion.com, you can modify it by calling 800-Red Lion (1-800-733-5466).  Some restrictions may apply for reservations that have special deposit or cancellation rules.


Can I cancel my reservation online?

Yes, if your reservation was made through our central reservations number or online, you can cancel it online by signing into your account and viewing your reservations. If you do not have an online account with us, or are unable to sign in, please call us at 800-Red Lion (1-800-733-5466) and a customer service representative can assist you.

Some restrictions may apply for reservations that have special deposit or cancellation rules. These reservations may not be cancelled online.


What is the AAA rate? 

The American Automobile Association (AAA) rate is for members of AAA who would need to show their membership cards upon check-in.


What is the Senior Discount rate?

Red Lion honors guests over 50 and AARP (The American Association of Retired Persons) members with a special discounted rate.  Present your valid identification or AARP membership card at check-in to take advantage of this discounted rate.


What ID do I need to have to get the government rate?

The government rate is for those persons who work for a city, state or the federal government. They will be required to show proper identification upon check-in at the hotel. Please note that the government rate for city/state employees are for the hotels in the state in which they are employed.


I need to make a reservation with my group. Can I get my group rate online?

Yes, if your meeting planner has given you the Red Lion group booking code, you may enter it in the 'Select your corporate, group or promotional code' field located on the upper left of the page.  Simply enter your destination, dates you will be with us, number of guests and your group booking code in the upper left and click 'Submit'.  You will then see rate and room availability matching your search. 


Can I redeem my Red Lion R&R Club points online?

Yes, once you are signed in, simply go to the Red Lion R&R Club Page and click 'Redeem Your Points'. You will have a list of redemptions available to you based on the points you have to use.  Select the item you wish to redeem points for and continue.


Where can I get the best available rate for my stay?

I have a Preferred Corporate Account. Can I make reservations online using this rate?

Yes, if you have been given the Red Lion Preferred Corporate Rate booking code, you may enter it in the 'Select your corporate, group or promotional code' field located on the upper left of the page.  Simply enter your destination, dates you will be with us, number of guests and your preferred corporate booking code in the upper left and click 'Submit'.  You will then see rate and room availability matching your search. 


I have an Only4Me Coupon Code. How do I make reservations online using this code? 

We are no longer offering this promotion as it has expired. 


I have a Promotional Code. How do I make reservations using this code?

You may enter your Promotional code in the 'Select your corporate, group or promotional code' field located on the upper left of the page.  Simply enter your destination, dates you will be with us, number of guests and your promotional booking code in the upper left and click 'Submit'.  You will then see rate and room availability matching your search 


I can't remember my password to sign in to my RedLion.com account. How do I retrieve my password? 

On RedLion.com, you may retrieve your password from the 'Forgot Password' Link located on the 'Sign In' Page'. Navigate to 'Sign In' under the 'My Account' section on the upper right of the page then simply Click the Forgot Password link located in the 'Sign In / Sign Up' area of the page.  Once you enter your security question and answer as well as your email address, we will email you the password.  If you do not have this information, you can also contact us at 800-Red Lion (1-800-733-5466) and an associate can assist you with resetting your password over the phone.


What if I can't remember my Security Question or Answer? 

In order to retrieve your password you will need to enter your security question and answer as well as your email address.  If you do not have this information, you can contact us at 800-Red Lion (1-800-733-5466) and an associate can assist you with resetting your password over the phone.


I have entered the information in to retrieve my password and I see a message telling me that the login name is invalid. What do I do?

If you receive a message stating that your 'Login Name is invalid' either you have registered with a different email address as your user name, or you are not a registered user.  In either case you can contact us at 800-Red Lion (1-800-733-5466) and an associate can assist you with updating your account information over the phone.


I can't remember the email address I used when I registered for an account. Is there a way to retrieve it?

If you are unable to remember the email address you used to register as a 'sign-in' you can contact us at 800-Red Lion (1-800-733-5466) and we can either reset your sign-in information for you or work with you to retrieve your 'sign-in' information.


I have a new email address. Is there any way to update my login online? 

Currently, there is no method to change the 'sign-in' email address online.  If you need to change the 'sign-in' information you may contact us at 800-Red Lion (1-800-733-5466) and we can update your 'sign-in' information for you.


I am already a Red Lion R&R Club Member and I would like to set up my existing account online. How do I register? 

If you already have a Red Lion R&R Club Membership but have not yet registered your account for online viewing, you can contact the Member Service Center at 1-888-606-0563 or email Member Services at memberservices@redlion.com and we can set up your account for online viewing.


I received an email from Red Lion and when I follow the link to sign in, I receive a message that my login name is invalid. How do I log in to view my account?

How do I sign up to receive email offers from Red Lion Hotels?

If you are already a registered user on RedLion.com, you can 'Sign In' to your account and select the 'My Account' link on the top right of the page.  Then, under 'Hotel Preferences & Subscriptions' update 'Email subscriptions'.

If you are not already a registered user on RedLion.com. Click Here to create an account.  In the account creation process, opt in under the 'Email Subscriptions' section of the registration.

You can also contact us at 800-Red Lion (1-800-733-5466) and an associate can update your account to opt you in.


How do I opt out from receiving email offers from Red Lion Hotels?

If you are already a registered user on Redlion.com, you can 'Sign In' to your account and select the 'My Account' link on the top right of the page.  Then, under 'Hotel Preferences & Subscriptions' update 'Email subscriptions'.

If you are not a registered user on Redlion.com, use the opt out link on the bottom of the email you have received to opt out.

Do you have an early departure fee? 

Yes, if the departure date is changed to an earlier date after check-in, a $50 fee is incurred. 


Is there a penalty for canceling my reservation?

Most of our hotels have a 24-hour cancellation policy.  If you decide to cancel within 24 hours of your arrival date there is a penalty.  Please check with the hotel to determine the cancellation penalty or specific policy.  The cancellation policy varies by rate reserved and dates of stay so please check your reservation confirmation or contact us to inquire about a specific reservation.


What is the Member Advantage Rate?

The Member Advantage Rate is a special rate program designed to add an extra benefit to our most loyal customers; Red Lion R&R Club Members.  The Membership Advantage rate offers a discount or a value added item above and beyond that of our lowest generally available rate. This rate is only available when you make your reservations through Red Lion directly, either over the phone at 800-Red Lion (1-800-733-5466) or online at www.redlion.com.
